I’m Chhaya Anand, and after 15 years in the tech world, I’ve seen hiring at its most efficient and its most broken. I’ve led teams at Viacom-Nickelodeon, EA Sports, WebMD, StubHub, Gap, Macy’s, Varo Money, Genentech, Meta and First Republic Bank and I’ve learned one simple truth: hiring is about communication not just credentials.
Today, AI and automation dominate the early stages of hiring but in the process, we’ve lost authenticity. Let’s talk IRL (in real life).
